Melbourne Go Club

    Keywords: Clubs & Places

The Melbourne Go Club -- in Victoria, Australia -- is a member of the AustralianGoAssociation.

    • This club is no longer in operation**

We meet every Tuesday night at 6:30pm at Almazett Lebanese restaurant, 210 Balaclava Road Caulfield North (Melway ref. 59 A12, see below for more directions). When you arrive, just tell the waiters/owners that you're here to play Go! You should be able to see us as you walk in, we occupy most of the tables near the entrance.

The club president is Brad Melki - [email] bmelki@hotkey.net.au.

The Melbourne Go Club organises and hosts the annual NEC Cup, a popular Australasian Go tournament sponsored by NEC Australia. There's a cool report of the 2002 NEC Cup at [ext] http://bignose.squidly.org/writings/nec2002-report.txt.
